The Balm|Liquid Lipstick review

The Balm is a brand that are famous for a couple of products. Mary LouManizer which is a champagne coloured highlighter and their eyeshadows. Mary LouManizer really is worth the money and suits pretty much anyone who wears it. My friend got this for Christmas from her sister and loved it so much she got me one for my birthday. She said she wasn’t sure on the colour as she chose it online, but the girl did good.

The makeup junkie in me really wants to try more of these. They feel nice on, don’t make my lips feel or look like a prune and a because of the formula it’s easy peasy to apply compared to other liquid lipsticks. If you have a counter near you, I would go and get one of them applied and see how you feel about it. Don’t feel you have to buy. Just tell them your plan and if they treat you with respect you’ll go back (preferably to that specific person) and buy one, or two, or three…

The packaging is a standard lipgloss or liquid lipstick shape with a silver lid. The tube is clear, so you can see the colour of the product and how much you’ve used. The box is also colour coded so if you own more than one of these, it makes it easier to find what your looking for.The doe foot applicator is a good size for me. But I do wipe a bit of the product off it before I apply to my lips. The formula of this is the nicest liquid lipstick I’ve tried so far. It’s a kind of whipped mousse consistency and to me feels a bit cooling when applied. It does have a faint smell of mint, so thats probably where the cooling effect comes from.

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this website.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s difficult to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appearance.

I must say that you’ve done a excellent job with this.
In addition, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Firefox.
    Superb Blog! http://bing.co.uk

      Hi Marlene,

I started using blogspot when I first started my blog as it does most of the work for you. It just takes a bit of time to get to grips with all the settings. I trawled the internet until I found a wordpress template I liked and then applied it to my blog.

      I hope this helps.
