Bourjois|Radiance Reveal Concealer Review

Bourjous Radiance concealer blushmedo 200816-0080

Bourjois are a brand I always go back to when it comes to foundation, but haven’t ever had much luck with their concealers. The Radiance Reveal Concelaer was released a while ago and everybody who had it said it was amazing, but it was always out of stock. I finally managed to pick it up about 3 weeks ago, in the shade light. There are 3 shades available in the range; light, medium and deep. At least if you order online, you can’t go to wrong..

The Packaging

The packaging is a looks like glass – feels like plastic situation. I’m pretty sure it is glass though. But the sturdy kind, so I’m not sure how well it would fair being chucked about in your makeup bag. So far, so good. The bottle looks and feels much more fancy pants than it is and I like the mini french lesson you get. The name etc is written on one side in English and the other in French. Now I know the French word for concealer (anticerines). But it might not mean that at all.. haha.

There is a doe foot applicator which is small enough to get around the eyes, but large enough to apply to the rest of the face without it taking minutes of your life away. It looks quite fluffy, which I personally don’t like. But you can feel the plastic underneath with a little pressure. There isn’t a lot of give to it either, if thats something that bothers you.

The Product

On first application, it looks quite thick, but on the skin melts and is easily blendable. I use my fingers first and then finish off with my beauty blender for a flawless finish around the edges. The product aires more on the side of a hydrating concealer than a dry one and may take some building up, but a little does go a long way. One thing I would say is I find it takes some time to ‘set’ before being able to apply any powders on top. But it has yet to look cakey or settle into my fine lines. Yes, I do have them.

The little sticker on the side says it contains Mont Blanc Glacier water, so posh water and Hylauranic acid; known for it’s hydrating properties. Some people have been known to have reactions to hyaluronic acid. If you are one of those, I would probably not go for this one.

The colour is ok, but if my eye bags are being a particularly pain in the arse, I do a bit of colour correcting before I apply this. Your left with a hydrated and brightened under eye area. For an everyday makeup look, this is so perfect. Aside from the lack of colour choice, this is fast becoming one of my daily staples.

Bourjois Radiance Reveal concealer is available for £7.99 for 7.8ml (random) from Boots. (Currently on a buy 1 get 2nd half price)

I’ve been browsing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article
like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be a lot more useful than ever before.
