Back when I first began doing makeup, I owned just 1, yes 1 bronzer that I loved and use religiously every single day. Until that ran out and I realised there is a whole world of bronzey goodness I didn’t know about. My first ‘pretty’ bronzer was the Clarins one which was released with one of their spring collections a couple of years ago. For a while, I didn’t want to use it because it was so precious, but then I realised whats the point in having something that will expire then Id have to throw it out.
Elizabeth Arden is not a brand that I ever normally buy something from, as personally I associate it with the more mature person. They’ve been around since 1910, provided the statement Red Lipstick to the Suffragettes in 1912 and were the first company to produce travel sized products in 1917. The fact that they’ve been established for so long means they know a thing or two about makeup.
The packaging is so summery and beautiful, it has to be the most colourful makeup product packaging I own and the rest of the compact is rose gold. Need I say more?.. You get 9g of product for £28 available here and is available in 2 shades; 01 Warm Bronze and 02 Deep Bronze (the one I have). The majority of the bronzer is matte, with the 2 darker lines containing a small amount of shimmer in it, but I like that on the face it gives a glow rather than a sparkle. I have been using this all over my face and although it does fair a bit orange in tone, it seems to work really well on my complexion.
I believe this product is limited edition and as I write this, the only shade available is 02 Deep Bronze (Pictured). I doubt this will be coming back into stock, so if you want to inject a bit of colour into your collection, then this is the way to go. The packaging for me is beaut, but the product does an amazing job all by itself. I wouldn’t be surprised if I don’t use anything else all Summer.
