It’s definitely warming up here and as I’m getting our tan on, the shade of foundation that I use in the winter just isn’t cutting it anymore, so thank goodness for bronzer. Too Faced is a brand that is rising in popularity in the UK, but also a few of their products have become available in TK Max (if your quick). I’m not sure what the criteria is for them to send their products there, but I’m not complaining. I managed to pick up this Soul Mates Blush and Bronzer Duo for something like £10 which is a bargain as it normally retails for £25, but is currently on sale on the Too Faced website for £23.
I believe this product has been out for around a year, but to be honest I can’t be to sure as I didn’t hear anything about it when it was first released. The compact is pretty huge and is much bigger than anything else I own, or maybe comparable to the Clarins bronzers that they bring out every season. You get 18g of product, which is a considerable amount for the price as you get 20g in the Clarins. Too Faced packaging is always so adorable. Yes- That is the only suitable word I could conjure up right now. They mostly do hearts and girly stuff, that doesn’t appeal to me, but they do have a huge target market for.
I love this ‘collection’ and i use that term lightly, as there are a whole number of 2 in it. There is the Ross & Rachael and Big & Carrie, which is the one I have to show you today. The powder is very soft to touch and the design is also pretty, but the flaw for me is that the blush part of it is so small meaning I inevitably end up getting quite a bit of bronzer at the same time which in this particular one makes a kind of unflattering orangey brown. But to use this just as an all over bronzer to add a bit of warm to the face, it’s perfect.
If your looking for a new bronzer and you can live with that, then overall this product really is lovely. Not only is it beautiful to look at both inside and out, but is also a bomb product in general. I haven’t tried any eyeshadow palettes from Too Faced yet, but one of their recent launches has definitely caught my eye and I shall endeavour to get a peek at it in the near future to decide if its really for me or not.
