False Lashes|The Affordable Way

I used to be really scared of false lashes, but then as I experimented with makeup more often, I found that my whole look was lacking something. So I dug out my only pair of lashes and stuck them on and voila! My life was complete. I know, slight exaggeration..

I started wearing Demi Wispies by Ardell, but as the cheapest I could find them was around £9 for 3 pairs – I just couldn’t justify it. Because I was still learning how to apply them properly and was going through 2-3 pairs a week, I decided to get on the good old internet and have a browse. I woke up at 4.30 one morning and that is the worst/best time to impulse buy. That’s exactly what I did. In all honesty, I did completely forget that I had ordered these when they arrived a week later. I’m almost certain that they originally come from China, but as I ordered on eBay from a seller in the UK, the delivery was super quick.

They cost something like £2.69 (here) so aren’t the best lashes you’ll ever find, but if you are a bit of a lash junkie, or just starting out these are a good place to start. The lash band is a clear strip and a little thicker that some of the other more expensive ones out there. They are also pretty long, so I tend to snip off around a centimetre in total from each end of the strip. I use Duo eyelash adhesive to apply mine and I must have had this forever as I have absolutely no idea when I purchased it. They sell in loads of places, but here is a direct link if you want to take a look. It costs £4.99, but you could probably get it cheaper if you looked around. If your thinking of getting into lashes then at least give it a go with some of these, which work out to just about 54p a pair. Don’t be scared about what people think, because generally they’re just wondering how to be as flawless as you.

What are your favourite lashes? Let me know, so I can do some more shopping. I mean research..
