For once I can honestly say I never intended on buying this limited edition highlighting palette from Laura Mericer. I was in Jarrolds (a local department store) and swatched it. Rule number one of makeup shopping is NEVER SWATCH THE PRETTY! But it happened and now I’m the proud owner of a beautiful piece of art that I don’t want to use in case I ruin said pretty.
What you get –
The Fall in Love is limited, so I have tried to get this post up as soon as possible in the hope some might still be available. Priced at £45, it isn’t the cheapest around but also is one of the prettiest. There are 4 what they call illuminating powders in this beauty. Three of them are wearable for my skin tone and the brown one I would use as a bronzer topper. The formula of these powders are extremely soft and layer really well. My favourite is mixing devotion and indiscretion. Creating a unique shade thats perfect for my skin tone. I don’t think pound for gram this is the most cost effective way of trying these powders out. However, these are massive in full size and I don’t know of anyone who would be able to finish one completely.
As of now, these are no longer available online. But some shops do sometimes have some stashed away under the counter. I would definitely ask around before you admit defeat. If your not lucky enough to get your hands on it, I know their full sized ones are coming back in stock in January some time.
