My New Skin Saviour|Lancôme

I never normally use samples of anything that I get unless I’m desperate and this especially goes for skincare. I’m such a stickler when it comes to my regime because if I find something that works, then I tend to stick to it. Another reason is that I don’t want to fall in love with something to find out it costs more than mu house is worth. I can’t remember exactly where I got these samples from, but inevitably fell in love and here we are.

Lancome is well known for it’s skincare and do an amazing job because this is what they specialise in. Énergie De Vie is of their new range of products that they have brought out for summer. The packaging is really eye catching and refreshing and kind of reminds me of cucumber. Which makes sense, as these products are water based so are very light feeling on the skin. There are 3 products available in the range – Énergie De Vie Pearly Wake Up Lotion, The Smoothing and Glow Boosting Liquid Care and The Overnight Recovery Sleeping Mask. The two in the pictures are the ones I picked up and have become my everyday go-to regime. The range is also free from Parabens, Sulphates and Phthalates (whatever that is).

The Glow Boosting Liquid is a very light watery moisturiser and contains Goji Berry and Lemon Balm Oil to leave your skin with a healthy glow. I use this in the morning in place of my usual moisturiser and this has worked perfectly without causing me any breakouts or problems with my skin that can occur when I change up my regime. It adds just the right amount of  hydration for the day and creates a perfect base for makeup.Lancome skincare blushmedo 130616-1490

The standout for me is definitely The Overnight Recovery Sleeping Mask though and this is what first sucked me in. It is a bouncy mask that you out on before bed, sleep in it and then your skin looks amazing in the morning. It’s unlike any other mask that I’ve used before, as it’s not oily or thick. But a has a lightweight texture which sinks into the skin leaving it soft, smooth and visibly hydrated. You can also use it as a quick fix to give your skin a boost by applying a thick layer and rubbing in the residue after 10-15 minutes.

I have been using these products for around 3 weeks now and I have to say I think I can see a difference in my skin. If your in the market for a new moisturiser, the Sleeping Mask is where it’s at! I got mine from Debenhams but you can also get it direct from Lancôme website. I picked up a few bits whilst I was there, so keep an eye out for that soon!
