As I’m getting older, the skincare dream is to get weekly facials accompanied by cucumber water and lazy days at the spa. In reality, that is never going to happen. Unless your super lucky. Even if you can manage to go twice a year, your skin will thank you for it.
I recently attended an event at U & Your Skin, where the owner Louise gave us an insight into why skin became not just a business, but an obsession. You can find a little clip here, if you’d like to take a look..
U & Your Skin has been established in Norwich City Centre for around 5 years now. They specialise in facials, tailored to suit your specific skincare concerns. I had my facial with Hayley and not only did she make me feel comfortable, she was able to tell me lots about my skin even in the short amount of time I was with her.
Living in the arse end of know where can sometimes leave you feeling a bit out of the loop. Especially when it comes to beauty and skincare. I always thought I would have to travel to be able to receive the kind of treatment I dreamed of. Louise has spent years training to become highly knowledgable in her specialised area. Meaning that instead of you telling her what you think you need. They tell you. Which in my opinion, is exactly how it should be.
They currently have 3 treatment rooms spread over 3 floors and the stairs are not for the faint hearted. But if you can get up to the third floor, it’s so peaceful. The picture with the strange looking machine is the top floor and the biggest of the 3.
As I am no skincare expert, I can’t tell you much more about what they offer. Other than, everyone who works for Louise is highly trained and are passionate about their job. U & Your Skin offer a range of treatments starting from £25 for a mini facial. Alongside this, you can get your brows either threaded, waxed or tinted and your skin tags removed. It’s hard to find someone you trust when it comes to face care. I mean, you only get one. So if you haven’t already, I would check U & Your Skin out. If nothing else, they’re super helpful and will send you in the right direction. I apologise on behalf of your bank though. I promise you won’t regret it.
This is not a sponsored post, although I did receive a free facial. My opinions about the products are all honest and my own. I just wanted to share the love.
